Thanks. There is a pretty lengthy thread on this forum about it. If you type in
Monroe MA785 In amazon and then click on customers also bought it will give you the complete list of everything you need. I'll screenshot what parts I ordered. I bought the push to connect fittings local. I also put an air gauge on and I don't use it. I wish I had a handlebar mounted switch though. I put the switch behind the fuse cover and it's a pain to adjust when the wife is on. The hardest part was mounting the compressor where it wouldn't be seen. underneath right in front of the rear wheel I drilled a hole through the cast part of the frame. The frame "splits "there so one hole through each side. I ran 1/4 20 threaded rod through and bolted it on each side Then I used pipe clamps and clamped it to the rod. I also put a couple zip ties loosely around it just in case the hose clamps would break. I wasn't sure how the clamps would hold up to the vibration so just in case. I used a wiring diagram from this forum for the relay. Total cost was $225. There is a guy that sells everything needed on eBay for $250. Since I don't use the gauge it would have been $205

Default Midnight Rider Bob updated

Hey all, had an idea for my customization on the 08 FXDB posted earlier. I didn't like my battery cover with that silver stripe, so I tried something I haven't seen before.

Removed metal clip in stripe, and had a custom piece fabricated for the empty area, ive seen riders take it off and just throw bolts into the slots. I hope I hit something original here, let me know what y'all think 😊.

I'd paint the bolt heads black. That would make them disappear kinda.
