Default Video of the Highway in New Zealand

Thought it might be interesting for some of you to see what the highway looks like over here in New Zealand, I know in reverse I'm always gobsmacked to see the USA highway.

This little ride was yesterday. Please excuse the wind noise, I have no idea how to edit audio and I had the incorrect cover on the GoPro.

I can't figure out how to just have this as a clickable link so to watch you'll need to scroll below the error message and click there.

Here are a couple of photos showing where in the country this is at.

Interesting driving on the left side of the road. I could get use to it. Are you bringing your bike to the USA or renting when you come over for your awesome trip? I also noticed how green everything is....not so true here in California where we speak of the "golden hills". Everything turns brown in the summer.

Ha yes I forgot that would be the wrong side of the road for you... the only time it's confusing is at big intersections or pulling out onto a road where there is no traffic. A couple of times in the USA I have driven along the wrong side for a while, it does alarm the passengers somewhat.

This will be my second riding holiday to the States, I went over in November '16, learned to ride and bought myself a little Sportster, sold it when I left the USA about 2 months later. This time I've already bought a Dyna from a forum member and it's waiting at his local Harley shop for me to collect. I'll ship it home this time.

Yes I spent a little bit of time around Cayucos/Paso Robles/Bakersfield and was really surprised to learn about the drought, I had no idea. It started raining a lot just after I left. Here we have frequent rain, but you can wait 30mins and it'll go away again. I love all of what I've seen of CA, you live in a great place.

We do feel fortunate to live here. Great place to ride. Noticed your planned trip is going through Fort Bragg along the California coast. Do you know what dates 30 to 31 might be? My brother and I ride to Fort Bragg regularly and could meet up for a few miles.

Gorgeous bikes in that photo! Very rare to see a big touring bike like that here. They're such eye-candy

Would be great to meet up with you guys, I am kind of winging it schedule-wise because I've never done anything like this trip before and not sure how it'll all pan out with miles each day and delays and whatnot... BUT for sure I will know a week or 10 days out, I'll definitely hit you up and see if it could work out?
