Default The day the softail died, and the moco lost its mind.

I get it, sales are slumping. But changing the softail to appear more like a metric is not the answer. In this latest gamble, Harley has completely turned its back on the people who are actually buying them. I think the main reason sales are slumping is due to rising prices, not quality, or lacktherof quality.
Personally, I think they laid an egg. Getting rid of the dyna line completely? Total madness. Someone will lose their job over this debacle. Crappy job, Harley, real crappy job.

I love the looks... looking hard at the Fat Boy... I will need to stay away from the dealer or I will be tempted to change my Slim S for a new Fat Boy 114...

Mixed feelings. I see some things I like, many others I don't. I don't like the chopped rear fender on the Fatboy or those wheels.. I don't like that fugly headlight either. I do like that turn signal mounted license plate, the tank console, the speedo, the pipes, and the satin finish in general. It looks really good with the white pearl paint job.

Just going to cost too much money replacing things out of the gate.

Bite your tongue! Not a fan of Fat Boys to begin with, and this one doesn't really change that. I do like that they have gotten rid of the exposed rear shocks on many models. Just cleans things up. Never looked right to me.

As far as your title goes, I actually think it is the day the softail advanced to the next level. I am just glad they didn't come out with a slim as good looking as my Slim s in army scheme, or I might of had to change.

I am staying put with my current ride. But it was nice to look at the new line

I just rode mine back from the dealer yesterday afternoon after they replaced the oil tank. Felt great. No need to change it
