Default Aftermarket saddlebag hardware

Looking at grabbing a set of 14 and up bags/lids for my 09 ec. They are a set of used take offs with no hardware. Anyone use any of the aftermarket hardware kits? They vary alot in price, and I wonder about the quality. Anyone have any experience?

Most use the stock MoCo hardware. You can get them on eBay.

I put a set of Viking bags with quick release mount's on mine in spring--Real easy mounting and work flawless, seem like they will last many years

I don't have the latest bags, but when I upgraded mine a few years ago I simply kept an eye open for a set complete with all hardware. It's quite expensive to buy new components to kit out bare bags.

I haven't seen an oem kit for the 14 and newer bags, I was under the assumption I'd have to get them pc by pc.

has anyone used the drag specialties kit?

hogworkz or advan black kits?

14 and up bags are alot harder to find than the older style.

I asked about the 14+ ebay knocks off bags and the hardware last year. One person responded saying the hardware action was not smooth or does not work perfectly. Something like that. But it does work.

thanks,
any idea which brand? My local hd dealership is checking on a price but I'm guessing it'll be high. The drag specialties are around 300 plus cables, faces etc. The hogworkz and others are in the 150 range. Be nice to know if the drag specialties pcs are repackaged same quality as the cheaper brands.
