That reminds me of how strong the Brand was at one time. Metrics wanted to look like a Harley . Yamaha Stars wanted to be Sportsters. They had quality but no character so they had to put a mask on. They even went after Bonnies, Kawasaki W650 is a good example.

Now the trend has reversed. Harleys want to be Metrics.
