From Excelsior as a kid to Triumph Tiger 100, BSA Gold Flash, Honda CB360, Kawasaki Mach 3, BMW K100, Honda GL1500 Gold Wing, Vincent Series C Black Shadow, BSA Lightning 650, Yamaha SRX,, Sunbeam S8, Triumph Trophy 1200, Harley TC88 FLHTCU and now Harley FXDF...... and loved 'em all, but I reckon the Fat Bob might be my last bike.

1992 BMW R100R. Bought it new, rode it every day for 20 years, then, when it needed a re-build, I bought my 2011SB. I ride the SB every day, but now I've finally finished my Beemer's rebuild (stripped it down to the block, did all the work myself, replaced every seal, grommet, gasket and bearing, and rewired it with a bunch of motogdget goodies and lots of weight-shedding). Finished it six months ago or so, and I'm very happy with it. Goes like a cut cat.

Still ride the SB every day though!

1973 Honda CB350G
Got my pilot's license at age 14 by going off the side of the road at 90+ mph, at night. Somehow nailed the landing and survived my childhood.

1981 Yamaha XS400
1985 Yamaha Seca 400

1985 Harley FXRT
Fairing, lowers, saddlebags, trunk, pursuit lights... the works. Best-handling bike I've ever had.

- the big gap -

2009 Kawasaki 250 Super Sherpa... the 'adventure' dirt bike.
2012 Harley FXDWG... the 'Happy Birthday to me' bike.
2008 Kawasaki ZZR 600... the 'because I never had one' bike.

Rode beside one of these on the way to check out the new bikes today. I love the sound of that motor.
