I know what you mean. It locks up my browser frequently and makes it extremely difficult to get around not to mention chewing up bandwidth. I click on the bike families and three quarters of the time it doesn’t respond because of the damn video. Sometimes I wonder if I am supposed to time mouse clicks for when the clutch is pulled on the bike.

I just went there and don't see the big deal. Just click on the X in upper right and go where you want. Besides, the H-D site has always been slow.

No kidding! You would think that a big company like HD would have the money to pay for a better website. All the time spent recently updating the web pages with the new bikes and not once did they noticed how slow it was? Seriously?

It's beyond slow. It keeps timing out.

The navigation is so bad it's a major turnoff.

Even worse, I can log in to the main site, but if I try to log into hog.com, it crashes. If I try to log in to "Shop" down at the bottom, it crashes. I keep resetting my password, it crashes.

I keep agreeing to take the survey, and I keep telling them it's the slowest site on the net, and it stays slow.

If it was slow for some posters why do they think it is slow for all?

Here is the answer. It is your computer and internet service provider.

Mine in blazing fast on the H-D website and always has been. I have a modest 50 meg service from Mediacom but it usually tests in the low 60's.

But that is combined with a low cost Acer 6 year old computer that is free of temp and internet files daily with the optimal internet settings. I use System Mechanic by Iolo Technologies that keeps the system in top operating condition.

Yeah that.
And there's several thread here about HD sales,, does anyone really need to wonder why when folks have to post here because they can't grasp how to view a website?

Consistent 112-114 Mbps, quad-core chip, 12 GB RAM, pc is kept clean and optimized.

OTHER web sites are blazing fast.
