I'd ride year round if it wasn't for the heavy salting here. Forget snow with most motorcycle street tires, though, even a little and you'd just spin the drive wheel. If I ever sidecar a Harley, I'd put a car tire with aggressive tread on it on the drive wheel, would probably do snow pretty good then. My dual purpose tire on the Ural only pushes it through 4-5" of snow, but mine's not a two wheel drive model (with a driven sidecar wheel, a feature many Ural's are sold with). Haven't found a car tire that would fit Ural rims, darn it.
I rock the TU250X in the Snow and use Duro tires from over seas. They are designed for the bikes over there that need to ride in ANYTHING. Both my front and rear have a snow rating and tread patter very similar to those of All-Season tires. Gets through the white stuff alright. I oil the bike frame and fenders and replace the chain in the spring... Salt destroys thart crap, $50 chain though gets me another 3K miles of riding where I'd be at home eating cereal and watching Netflix.
Urals are so damn pricey, can't justify getting one... but a Trike is on my mind (Honda gold-wing)

I got a '98 non running Ural 4 years ago, though it would be neat to take my then 4 year old grandson for slow rides around the neighborhood. Took half an hour to get it running, and he loved it. Saw an '07 Ural 3 years ago less than a third the cost of a new one, and he loves that even more. New enough to have a real alternator (had Russian tractor alternators for several years, affectionately called grenades by Ural fans) and a Brembo front disk brake - wish I had that on my Harleys.
I've ridden trail bikes with knobbies in snow, did pretty good. Have thought about getting a junker trail bike to play with in winter and let it rust, but then I remember how old I am. Don't think I could tuck and roll like I did 50 years ago.
I had a package to FedEx today, tossed it in the scooter's sidecar and the little Honda fired up instantly in 19 degrees. Found out the Arai helmet I bought last spring sucks for cold weather, can't see with the visor down at any speed, fogs instantly. I got a pinlock insert, haven't put it in yet, hope that helps. I did not take the long way home, either. I'll wear the old HJC next time, I've had that down in single digits with no problems. Even cold like that, felt good to get out for a little while.

For a little while...is that the key?
Actually, I've ridden all day in the low 20's and was warm...but I'm not sure how much colder it could go before my current gear would not do the job.
Nice thing is...I don't intend on finding out. lol
Colors are starting to change here in MS. Many of our tree leaves just turn brown...but we do get some nice yellows and oranges.
Took this pic on the way into the shop this morning.

To answer your question from a couple days ago, no, my riding season is all year round as long as the snow permits the streets to be passable. And they only use salt here when absolutely necessary.

That's great!
I've been out of pocket for most of the last 7 days....my folks were here, then my brother and his wife also arrived.
Been visiting, riding, visiting, riding....

In my neck of the woods in Waah-shington state, when the temps get in the 20's & 30's they start spraying this goo down that sticks to your frame and fenders.
That's when I take a break from riding because it's no fun washing your bike off in 25 degree weather. https://www.wsdot.wa.gov/winter/anti.htm
Most vehicles are made with a protective under coating that helps the vehicle resist damage and corrosion. WSDOT continues to strongly recommend drivers who drive on roads treated with anti-icer wash their vehicles to prevent build-up.
