Same here, installed 21” Reinforcer and lowered the trees/fork tubes. I dont want to change suspension internals yet due to the new “dual bending valve”

this is the cheapest solution

Thumbs up

Same here. I'm pretty happy with the stock suspension so I don't want to change out the springs.

So no issues with the front fender hitting the lower tree cover? Thanks for all the pics! I’m gonna do this.

I rode it hard without issues hitting the fender. For peace of mind, buy some bump stops for the forks. Personal preference, I dont need the bump stops.

Did you need spacers for the fender? And where is the best place to get the Reinforcer?

I pulled up the forks 3/4". A little worried about the top of the fender bottoming out on heavy breaking. Will test it out tomorrow.

Rode it about 200 miles today. All is good even on heavy breaking and big pot holes.

If you want to know how I figured out how many bump stops to use, I had the forks up 3/4" like the above but I decided to go with polished lower sliders. So I bought the lowering springs because I would have the forks apart. I left the springs out, put the forks on the bike without the upper covers (cowbells) installed the fender and slid up till the fender was 1/4" away from hitting, measured the distance between the lower slider and the bottom of the tree....3 bump stop spacers.
Have ridden two up AND had to hit the brakes hard....no dent in the fender.and it has never felt like a solid hit from hitting the stops. I used the 1" drop springs. Actually wound up with about 3/4" clearance.

As far as the fender hitting with the forks moved up with the stock springs you are fine.

NOTE: if you order the stops you will need 2 of the flat sided bump stops to account for the screws that hold the upper covers on.
