Who here keeps their bike on a lift for winter storage? Is this good or bad for the suspension front and rear?

There is a thread going on this topic in the Touring section right now with plenty of responses. I have mine up on a J&S Jack this year, with a smart tender and breathable cover.

I made a dolly/stand with wheels, jack it up set it on there plug it in and cover it up.
The wheels I used are in the background !
I also used a strip of rubber on the top so the frame isn’t sitting on the steel.

Mine is stored for 8 weeks because of hand surgery this week...but I start it every few days and wax it all the time...and it’s 80 outside and the best time to ride...I might let a fellow rider exercise it every week for couple miles and it’s on a tender everyday

Makes it easier to clean the wheels and such. I am hopefully going to be able to paint my tins this winter/spring.

Since my 2009 J&S Jack purchase...bike(s) are cleaned, prepped, lifted and plugged for winter.

My limited spends about 3 or 4 months (winger season) on the lift, don't see how it could harm the suspension. Sure makes it easy to move the bike if I need to- I have a lot of other stuff competing for space on that side of the garage.

Nope, and have never heard of one falling off the ground yet.
