Hi guys, can anyone with factory fwd controls could tell me if the head of the Clevis pin should be push all the way to the brake rod, or if there should be a gap ?

That looks normal. I upgraded to a stainless polished pin and use a cotter pin and spring washer to keep the rattle to a minimum.

Sorry about the condensation. Tis the season. :-(

Washers and spring washer wouldn't be a bad idea. If it were my bike I'd have a cotter pin in it.

Thx guys.

So, the Clevis pin is free to rotate or there is a little "press fit" into the brake rod (the clevis seems shouldered)?
I ask because I notice that the clevis move toward the outside when I ride, making the pin rest/rubbing against the brake rode.......

The pin rotates freely. Mine rattled and if the wrong pin was used, it could catch on the forward bracket bolt. That problem no longer exists. You can see the difference in brackets between my old bike and yours.

Just tried to remove the pin on my '98 Dyna recently and that thing didnt budge. Soaked it with PB Blaster, tried heat, and a C clamp to press it out with no luck.
