Looking forward to your report. Can't see a downside to it, although I suspect the only effective way to stop the flinging is going to be having the plastic stick out about a foot past the end of the rack...

Thought I should clarify a couple of things

Freight from Australia at $150? - Not sure where that came from - we ship worldwide for $20 a unit...
Pricing - USA is GST exempt therefore you get a 10% discount straight up

This can be an issue if you shop online as it cant distinguish where you reside..So it wont be deducted..

Nice to see some exposure of our Fat Bob unit on here.. We have shipped many worldwide and it's always good to see them on international bikes..

If anyone has any tail tidy related questions, yell out - happy to try and answer them...

Hi!
Questions:
1) Do you have a relocation kit for european size license?
2) Can you show a photo of BCFBFE02 kit? On you web site photo I didn't see any lights on it. Does it require some special wiring?

Thank you in advance!

That's what we were quoted by the Harley dealer. It brought the total unit cost up to US$650, which -- while it was a beautiful design, that was just way too much. Blackmill's version goes for $220, including shipping, and they're a forum sponsor, so that's why I got mine from them.

We had no way to order it directly from you, we didn't know who the manufacturer was, our only point of contact was the aforementioned Harley dealer who implied that the product was made for them and who didn't give us brand or contact information. As said, we in the USA were told it was going to be about US$650 for the whole product, freight included.

What is your net cost to a USA customer, freight included?

Well, dang. If we had known that back when we were trying to find you guys, I probably would have bought it back then. But the only deal we could find was $650, and - I'm sure you can understand why we didn't want to pay that.

Just a very bad and quick photoshop from a youtube video....

But have anyone from EU users tried to mount the original plate holder behind the rear tyre, up to the fender?

Some kind of an adaptor will be required to do this, but it can easily be manufactured. And you won't loose your licence plate lamp... Looks clean too..

I will try this when I receive my bike...

I looked at it and as far as I can see the EU plate mount of the Fat Bob wouldn't work.

A HD dealer near Amsterdam has sorted something out with parts from a sportster and a bracket they made themselves. More info and some pictures on this thread.
Looks neat.

DK Custom is close to finalizing a license plate braket for the new Softails......at least the Fat Bob. I'm sure it will fit other new Softails.
