well it seems like it is new tire time for us so i have been doing a bit of searching for a 180/55/17... found alot and figured i woud post them... i am still waiting to hear back from my distributers to see what kind of a price I can get on them... if it is good i will get you the info and what you need to say to get the same price i get and have it shipped to you... "i will stay out our the transaction so that i do not get in any trouble on here" If i can save yall a buck i dont see why not... (be nice if we could just order in bulk cause it seems all of us need one) DUNLOP SUCKS! 3rd tire 4,800 miles... pathetic!

It was to my understanding that the metzler 180 rear will not fit the stock rim of my 06 bob? Please let me know, as I would love to try a metzler out. I may be able to hold off on getting a new tire for another 3-4 weeks, but that would be pushing it. Anyway, let us know!

Metzler will fit just fine... there are a few guys running them... if you are worried you can always run the 170... the metzlers tend to be a bit wider looking anyway.

 

I appreciate the links but I just waited too long and need tires asap. I am having the dealer put the same stock Dunlops on Friday. The Dunlops worked pretty good for me. I got 12,500 miles out of the rear and it is now toast. The front could go maybe another 1,000 but it's getting changed too. Next time I'll plan ahead so I have more time to wait for the tires to come in and shop around for a better deal. The dealer is charging me about $420.

 

any idea's for a good all weather tire
i do get caught in the rain every now and then

 

Metzler... WOW by the way pigs 420 although a great number (ha ha ha) a very high tire price!

 

Dayum 420.....im gonna need a new rear tire pretty soon ive got 11500 on the stock tire. What do you suggest joe? I want something maybe a little wider but not a 180 and i want it to last at least 10k.....let me know

I got a brand new maxxis classic black wall in a 130 for 78 bucks shipped off ebay...had it installed for 32. Making mine a grand total of 110.00 even mounted, balanced, new tube, and true checked out.
