Spent some time this morning reading up on the Ricor Intiminators. They have received great reviews on this forum and articles I found online. On their website they're having a 40% sale, so I got them and 2qrts 10w fork oil.

As for the bolts/hardware, unless you're hellbent on using chrome or pc'ing them, I would strongly recommend going with a good grade of stainless steel hardware. Won't rust on you like chrome will (especially if you do any damage with your allen wrenches) in the cap screws. And no chipping of the pc...
Make sure whoever powders your trees does not get any powder inside the clamping area that goes around the forks. I had to treat that thing like Bubba in prison to slide my forks back in there.....hahaha! Ended up lubing it up and talking to it nicely to get my forks back on the trees.
I went thru the entire teardown on my bike last winter. I did all the work myself and would do it again in a heartbeat knowing how much others have spent to do the same thing. Gives you a better sense of "this is my bike" feeling when you wrench on it yourself.
