Default Rotor Wobble

While riding today, I noticed my front rotor wobbling like a weeble wobble also causing the floating part of the caliper to shake. No vibration in the handle bars and smooth braking still occurs. Should i be concerned?

you still have the stock semi floating rotor? maybe slighty warped. that part of the reason your caliper has flexibilty.

i don't think you need to worry about it.

If you're worried, take a feeler gauge and a straightedge to the rotor, check for warpage. Use a dial gauge to check for runout, too, if you're being thorough. Harley allows 0.008" warpage and runout.

It should still be under warranty - why not take it in and have it fixed?

On warranty have HD inspect and repair.

Yet be prepared.
a) straight edge the rotor to ensure it is true.
b) check rotor mounting bolts to ensure they are tight.

This may or may not be an issue as others have mentioned.
Yet, still be prepared and inspect.

Ill check with the dealership, This is also the same dealership that told me my rear rotor squeel would go away when the bike only had 40 miles on it...well 4000 miles later its still doing it and they wont cover it because its a "wear part".

Ive not had very good luck with HD service in my few experiences.

Update: Continued riding bike not thinking anything of the slight rotor wobble...well now i think the rotor is hitting the caliper...I can feel a slight knock in my handlebars every rotation of the front wheel while going slow (10mph)...

fml. Any advice?
