Default Your Holy Grail Harley?

So what is the one or several bikes you would love to have. The ones you are just drawn to for whatever reason. Big, small, or whatever.

For me...

1. 1947 FL because my Grandfather had one.
2. 1977 XLCR because it was about as funky a bike as Harley has ever released and apparently ahead of its time.

That's my Grandfather above, whom I never knew.

I have been eyeing this one thinking it could be had a bit cheaper than the asking price...https://eastky.craigslist.org/mcy/6045255956.html and would be a cool bike with a little effort.

That's exactly the type of bike I would be looking for!

Sadly he would pass away not long after this picture. He died in his thirties from a suspected embolism. But he appears to have lived life. This is the only picture I have ever seen of him. But his love of bikes passed to my dad and on to my brother and eventually to me many years after his death.

I often wonder about the affect that we have on the future generations by the small things we do without realizing it. How many kids develop an interest in bikes because I wave or rev the engine for them at a stoplight?

Lost a neighbor some years ago like that. Healthy young man, just driving down the street. Boom. Dead. Hell of a thing.

not very original, but my Holy Grail of a Harley is the one I have now... paid for, runs well, and I thoroughly enjoy it!!
