Default Battery died now getting following codes after jump

Hey guys,
I have a 2017 Iron 883. I accidentally left the bike on today and drained the battery. After calling insurance to come out and give me a jump now i have a check engine light on with the following codes:
U0140
U0156
B2271
I rode the bike for a bit to charge the battery with no issues but trying to figure out if these codes could have kuat been because the battery died or if something else is wrong.

Thank you,
David

Sorry should have put in that I have looked up the codes already.
U0140 Lost comm W/BCM
U0156 Lost comm w/SPEEDO
B2271 BCM voltage low

Even though i am showing these codes I have no issues when riding Speedometer works fine and everything starts perfectly. Just trying to figure out what might be causing the issues.

Jump starting a motorcycle is never a good idea (especially when using a car/truck sized batt/charging system). Some people get away with it, but others end up with problems that are far worse than a dead battery. Note: those codes may not have anything to do with the jump itself, but rather the fact that the battery was drained. Meanwhile, you might try 'clearing' those codes by disconnecting the battery for ~ 5 minutes. That said, I recommend that you buy a service manual and a 2 amp 12v battery charger.

Probably due to the dead battery. Fully charge your battery (with correct charger), then clear codes, and ride. See if the codes come back.

Did you clear the codes and they came back, or did you not clear them?

You clear the code while it is displayed by pushing in
and holding the odometer reset button ( longer than 5 seconds) until 'clear' comes up. Then cycle to the next code and repeat.

Default Getting code U0156 after battery died

I've got an 18 Roadking. I tried clearing the code U0156, but it won't clear. AAA used a small handheld portable jump starter to start bike. Any suggestions? Never had any trouble with bike until this. Thanks for any suggestions!

Disconnect battery, wait a few minutes (?) and reconnect. Reset whatever needs to be reset, then check for codes. The code says a miscommunication, so clearing out all the boogers and reconnecting the battery is probably a good idea.

Old wives tales that it hurts to jump start a 12v vehicle from another 12volt vehicle
