I NEVER buy tires retail.
Bike Bandit and Dennis Kirk are great sources.
JPCycle if your a gold member or catch a sale.
The retail markup on tires is absurd, and the minute I hear... "I only mount tires I sell for liability reasons", just cost the shop that and any future business from me.
Way to many eager shops out there to get fleeced by greedy ones.

Just got a pair from JP. Good service, decent price, and quick delivery.Took them to Harv's Harley. They quoted me $45 per wheel to dismount, remount, and balance. After I got them home I read the bill a little closer. HA! $ 52.50 per! I phoned them and the response was/ "I don't remember any quote. Sorry, can't help you." Still, not too awfully bad, but they'll never get another penny from me. My advise. Get your quote in writing / In Advance! P.S. Pulling and remounting the rear on my CVO was a MOTHER! Good Luck

When my local HD dealer wanted stupid money for tires and installation, I thought, what the hey, I'll wander into the local BMWHondaSakiZuki dealer and talk to them. They beat the best online deal I could find, including tax, and installed them for $60 a wheel, on the bike.
Just ask around your local area, and I'll bet you can find somebody with great prices.
