Hello:
My ignition switch will turn off the engine, but all the accessories (lights, gps, etc.) still stay on. When I turn the switch to off, the engine shuts down but all accessories still remain on. It’s not throwing any codes at all. Anyone else ever experience this issue?

I have a 2016 FLHP. Police road king.
Basically stock with stage one.

 

Purchased brand new.

 

Being a police model, are there any switches just for auxiliary lighting?

 

There is a switch that turns off/on the lollipops but that’s about it. That switch works fine. It’s like the ignition switch goes to accessory mode when in the off position.

 

Have you done anything involved with wiring, switches, handle grips, fuses, relays, bike been dropped, or is this a completely spontaneous malfunction? Still under warranty?

 

Never been dropped. Mint condition. I had a Garmin Zumo 590 installed last year by the dealer. The problem occurred once about 4 months ago and then went away. Now it’s back.
I pulled the master fuse and put it back in. Problem went away for about 10 minutes and then started again.

 

Yes. Still under warranty.
I have had heated hand grips since day one. No problems with those.
