No more sumping worries for me
I rode up to Gettysburg bike week and had the fueling race pump and cam plate installed. While in there we swapped the lifters (S/S for fueling, definitely seem quieter), pulled the redshift 468 and installed the Tman 216. Found out the Indy that did my first cam install put loctite on the pushrods, that made them unable to be screwed down to be adjusted (what’s a little more money, right?). I also had a breather mod done to help relieve the pressure from the crappy internal breathers. I thought I was done, than Chris from cycle solutions started talking about the thunder max......a bunch of money later and this thing screams! It’s an absolute beast with this cam in there, just gobs and gobs of power. The cost included a dyno tune by Chris. The paper and the butt dyno don’t lie, when I say she screams, man she gets on it! The throttle is there immediately when I roll on it, so much that I have to get used to it again.
I loved the Red Shift 468, but I was looking for some more top end power also.
ill be listing a like new RS468 and like new S/S premium lifters tomorrow. They each have less than 20 miles on them and I will price them to sell. If anyone is interested here, shoot me a pm.
heres the dyno sheet
Im gonna price them to sell

Point well taken, and we will honestly never know the full cause of the sumping. Zipper’s and Cycle Solutions both said they believed the sumping was caused in part by the breathers. As for the oil pump, I was running a first gen and each time I went for a ride I was worried to death it would sump.

17 years ago I would hear guys saying FTF and I couldn’t figure out why they said it. I thought the moco was great. I now know exactly what they meant. I will not buy another new harley, I’ll keep the 2 I have.
