Default 19 CVO Road Glide - Exhaust Question

Hi everyone. Has anyone here replaced the exhaust and head pipe? I was thinking about Fullsac Cores, and a new head pipe, but was also contemplating either Tormentor or Bassani Head Pipes, and either the Rinehart or S&S Grand National mufflers. Would love some opinions or feedback. UPDATE: spoke w/Bassani, they advise their 2x2 head pipes and the DNT mufflers. Had Bassani Pro Street Turn Outs on my Breakout, and loved the sound.

Are you ok with losing your factory warranty?

Dealer told me as long as I use the Screaming Eagle Tuner, I'm fine. Been a customer for a while, never had an issue.

Dealer is correct and incorrect at the same time.

HD corporate will not be able to detect a head pipe change by having dealer plug into the bike. And your selling dealer will ignore the head pipe. However if you break down away from home, the servicing dealer may report and after market head pipe with no cat to the MoCo and if they do your warranty will be voided.

Also the Screaming eagle tuner will not be able to add enough fuel and possible advance for not having a Cat. The SE tuner is only capable of EPA compliant tunes. A tune for no cat, is not EPA compliant.

Thanks for the info. Any advice then if I want to improve the sound and keep my warranty?

S&S Grand nationals are a good choice even with stock headpipe, they have easy to remove inserts to adjust for sound. The new headpipes flow very well and have enough back pressure to maintain your low end torque.

S&S full exhaust with high flow cats in the mufflers. Get the HD SEPST and the HD auto tuner for the wide band O2 sensors. I put this set up on my ‘17 CVO Limited and ‘18 RGS. Nice sound and increased performance.
Good Luck

WestEnd Motorsports likes this setup (S&S and the Tormentor Headers). Priced right. Thanks for the feedback.

Ordered a set of SVT Boneshakers with the 4.5" baffle. Going to ride with these for a few thousand miles. If the bike doesn't have any issues w/the motor, etc...I'll upgrade the head pipe and tuner then.
