Default Front muffler drags on right hand bends

I recently bought an 05 Sportster 1200 Custom and it still has factory exhaust and mufflers. To the best of my knowledge other than a dealer installed stage one with performance baffles the bike is as sold new. It currently has 2,900 miles. My problem is that on right hand bends, the front muffler drags, creating a not so safe situation. I'm not all that excited about spending several hundred dollars on an aftermarket exhaust that rides higher than the bottom of the frame. I suppose not cornering so hard would be the easiest solution, however, I find that anything that drags before the footpeg is dangerous. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

05 1200. 2,900 miles as of 12/3/18

Can't say I've ever had the front muffler itself drag, I have had the heads on the two bolts that bolt it to the mount drag a couple of times though. Get's your attention...

Nice looking Sportster BTW.

I appreciate the reply. It is the muffler for sure. It is all scraped up underneath.

Possible that the smaller diameter front wheel on my SuperLow has something to do with it. Maybe it puts the muffler support closer to the ground and that's why it drags first. Just a thought...

I'm open to any and all explanations. I can't be the first and only one to have this problem though.

Stock rear suspension is useless, change them for something better. I think stock length is 13.5 inch, also the front forks look to be through the yolks a long way, you could try moving them down until the tube is level with the top yolk.
so lifting the bike a little.

I have checked into some suspension mods that include longer forks and shocks. I have to read more about how those mods affect handling.
