Default Throwover bags and a solo seat

Well maybe not the best looking setup. But this time of year with cool mornings and warmer days, need a place to put my gear ☺️

I prefer the look of these type of bags to most actually
they are in close to the bike and look proportioned

How big are they? I bought a set of throw over bags and they were stupidly small and unusable.

13" long,, 11" high, and 5 1/2" wide. Their by Willie and Max, not sure if their still around. I have had them for going on 7 years, and they have held up very well. They are a slanted style which fits well with the shocks.

Do you have support brackets installed under your bags?

I like the way they look btw! Good looking setup!

They look good, as was said before they fit nice and close to the bike and look to be a good size. My son runs a similar set on his 1988 sportser

What about paint 'damage' to the rear fender ? You using any type of protection under the bags 'strap' ?

He usually runs the two up seat but we attached a felt like material under the part that hits the fender. I just draped them over the fender for the picture I am replacing brake lines and rebuilding the master cylinder and caliper and brake line it was loaded with crud.

The paint is holding up well , not a professional paint job but we do our best.
