So much next stage on the bike is lowers. No speakers right away, but will add those down the road. The question is...which company would you recommend Advan Black or Hog Werks? Speaker pods now or add them when I add speakers?

Not quite an audio question, but I know you guys know your stuff.

 

I have advanblack and have no issues. If your thinking speakers I would wait on ordering pods
as they are suppose to be coming out with 8” pods.

 

What year/model bike?

 

8" would be nice.

Now that I found the 8" pod post online, it seems like a no brainier.

 

Hell GS I didn't realize it was you that asked. Again I am old. I know what you have. I recently bought a set of lowers off ebay and the fit was damn good. They have the speaker pods already and I got them for under $150. Added a set of hertz sv 165's and running them off the front of a nvx vad4 and they add a ton of difference. If you are going to add lowers then dammit put the speakers in and forget it. If not then you will be spending more $$ down the road for the speaker pods that you know damn well you are going to add. lol

 

I know I'll add them, but it would be nice to add 8" pods, then add some 8" DD or Hertz or Ground Zero with a new SD 800.4 amp. Im smiling ear to ear thinking about possibilities now.

 

There’s other 8” lowers out there from dirty bird voodoo and I believe
Big Twin Squeeks has some as well but they are unfinished and pricey
