Default SEPST (super) Cranks to Fire

G'day gents, sorry for the novel, just trying to cover the bases.
My 2016 Softail Slim S has always taken a few revolution's to fire, from when it was brand new and stock and through its various engine mods that has not changed.
Engine is a CVO 110, CCP is 198 front and rear, T-Man 590PS2 cams.
I have adjusted the start tables available in the software over last couple of years and it will fire without flare or stumble hot or cold but always after a few revolution's, I have tried multiple 621 calibrations based on the 259 cams as that's the closest to what I have been running but none of them have had a noticible impact on how many cranks it takes to fire.
I have pulled the battery leads off and cleaned all mating surfaces including paint where it earth's. No change.
Hooked the bike up to my 4X4 battery.
Spun over slightly faster but same amount of cranks to fire.
Battery in the bike died so replaced it with an SSB 400CCA, same deal as the 4X4 battery.
Replaced battery leads with better ones.
I felt good about it, the bike didn't notice.
Revisited the start tables.
Cranking Fuel, increasing just makes it smell and eventually backfire, decreasing it takes more turns to fire.
IAC steps, increasing made it puff out of the intake, decreasing slightly did help slightly as in it now started in 3-4 revolutions more often than 4-5, still went to 5 just not as often.
Adjusted the timing in the 750-1000rpm rows from 70-100kpa, went both ways, + and - numbers, the - settings work better.
I changed the crank sensor just to see if there was any change in behaviour, it now seems to start more often in 2-3 revolutions but sometimes goes to 4 however not to 5, another slight improvement for sure.
While it starts better it is not jab and start, any ideas on what else I could try?
Cheers
Hilly

Hilly,
Have you tried a set of new stock spark plugs?
That seems to be the only thing you have not tried?

I have Bob, running Vrod spec plugs at present, NGK DCPR8E, set @ .035" but have tried new stock plugs and the fancy SE plugs, seems no different starting wise with any of them.

Interesting point Bob has raised
I also generally run the DCPR8E (NGK 4179) or the stock VRod plugs 10R12
( and have similar starting with a lot of testing giving no improvement )
The stock plug for these 110 motors is the 6R12
How long since you have run them ?
And I guess not swapped to them for a start comparison ?

I took a near new set of the 6R12's out last week, maybe the best bet is to change tuners to access more tables?

Maybe I'm asking the impossible?
Send you a vid if I can and see what you think.

Yours is not too bad
It is easy to be dissatisfied when so many stock bikes fire up straight off.
We do a bit of work on ours and starting always seems to suffer a bit.
I went out to do a vid of mine. It has been sitting a week and usually starts ok from cold. This time it was embarrassing.

Posts 117 used to fire right up and it was more built than mine, yeah stockers often do that but this one never has from new, as it sits now it's as good as I've had it, you probably right though, at least it starts aye 😁

Ok Hilly,
Let’s try reloading the MTE file to completely reprogram the entire ECM, which may have something in the coding that got messed up during the original ECM programming.
Then, reload your calibration and try that.
Lettuce know,
Bob
