MotoHorn crap.

MotoHorn crap.
So I've used one before the first gen they came out with but I wired it directly to the horn wires and it was okay. But this one I've been trying to use on my 02 twin cam. It's Hella loud when it works and sad when it doesn't. The relay clicks but horn no honky. I have put the stock horn wires on it and it works but is not as loud. I've tested and tested and seems like it decides to work when It wants to. The compressor reads 1 ohms when I put a meter on it, So I'm wondering if the compressor is garbage. 🤷♂️

I did. I have a 40amp 4 pin and a 30 amp 5 pin. I set up a dry install with all the wires hanging out of the seat area and tested. And the compressor worked then after I tucked it all in it didn't. The relay clicks but the compressor isn't.

I wasn't bas mouthing I ment it as i thought it was crapped out. Fortunately i did contact them, they said just connect the negative straight to the battery and it works. So I guess the negative post thats on the frame wasn't good enough.

no way it's motohorns fault. It worked fine straight to the stock horn connection but it's weak that way. I got it figured out by directing the negative straight to the battery.

Sorry doesn't fit your narrative.
