It is not that horrible as some think, I am disappointed the new tour modes did not boost that category more.
Their share of the cruiser market went up in the US and Europe which is a good sign. What is not good is the percentage of credit losses is getting closer to four percent, currently it is about a half point higher than what the auto industry is experiencing. Another ominous sign is increased inventory at dealers but that may have led to the reduction in shipments for Softail models. Adventure Touring and Sport/Lightweight which are all Revolution Max models continue to disappoint and shrink in volume. Harley really needs to fix that line up. Little selection and what is available has no real visible appeal, as in the motor does not look good from both sides and the cooling system is not integrated at all and detracts greatly from the looks of those bikes.

Could be bought out by an offshore company.. Perhaps Royal Enfield of India where they have low labor costs and no net-zero nonsense allowing for cheap and abundant energy. They are a motorcycle manufacturing powerhouse and their North American headquarters are located in Milwaukee WI.
I don't want Harley to do bad. I have a long life to live and realize time takes it's tolls on machines. I realize time improves too.
Look at our autos, 200k miles is not a big deal. 100k is nothing. I hope to see bikes go 100k.
What happened once can happen again
