Going 2:1 Exhaust from True Duals Too Many Options
The bike I'm currently working on is an '04 RG that was built by the owner of an HD dealer in 2004 sparing no expense to make a bagger hot rod flagship bike of its time. It has since been neglected.
Axtell heads + Baker 6-speed
Last dyno (2010) showed 120 hp and 121 tq.
Rinehart true duals installed sometime along the way vs White Bros. 2 into 1
The number of variants and models has my head spinning. I'd appreciate you experiences with 2 into 1 options for a non-stock application.
Which model for deep sound but has the bark they probably all offer?
D&D - Fat Cat, Boarzilla, or?
Bassani - Road Rage II or III, B4, etc.?
S&S - Sidewinder?
I know the "which exhaust/seat/oil/tires" can be exhausting (so to speak) but thanks for any opinions you can share.

My luck with D&D and S&S quality has been terrible. If you're mainly into the dyno numbers and sound, I'd go D&D. But if you tour and run into bad weather, don't count on those looking new for long.
I have used a few FuelMoto brand (in house design & manufactured to their specs) exhausts for a couple of my bikes.
If my anecdotal experience is typical of their exhaust products, they make a solid product, with great performance, fit, and finish.
FuelMoto has two choices for you, based on your budget and/or the look you are going for...

I have an older version of the second exhaust, on my 2016 Bagger with a 124" crate engine and it's an excellent performing exhaust.

OP back when I got my 2010 Ultra Classic it had Rinehart True Duals on it. They sounded OK but ran like crap and were almost impossible to tune for, so I don't blame you for wanting to change them out.
After trying many exhaust combos on that bike my favorite one turned out to be a decatted stock headpipe and Harley Screamin' Eagle mufflers. Sounded good and tuned like a dream. One of the main reasons I wanted to go back to a stock looking setup was the ease of service. The Harley headpipe didn't cover up any service points. This is a problem with a LOT of aftermarket exhaust systems I've seen. Shoot, even the V&H Short Shots on my 03 Wide Glide cover up the dang transmission dipstick. I'm sort of stuck with them because the Baker tranny I'm running sticks out farther than stock so stock headpipes won't fit anymore.
I realize on your model of bike the original stock headpipe might not be too desirable due to the less than sturdy crossover, and it's not a 2 into 1 like you inquired about, but I thought I'd toss out my experience in case you had any spare parts handy. The stock headpipes for the 09 and up twin cams are dirt cheap on Ebay in case you want to experiment (someone would have to chime in if they will or won't fit your year model bike).
Good luck with whatever you choose.

i have a Fuel Moto Jackpot 2 to 1 on my 8 Road King from years ago and love it. It is ceramic coated, nice chrome heat shields, fits perfect, looks and sounds great. Engine is stock so can not comment on its performance, but i'm sure it has potential.
