Brussels, Belgium new member
Good morning, new member from Brussels, Belgium, the 'capital of Europe'.
Riding bikes since 1985, owned Suzukis, KTM, BMW, Ducati, AND now a wonderful HD DuoGlide Panhed from 1964 (certificat says 1958, but that is wrong). It is relatively stock, hand shift, foot clutch, kickstarter (and what a b...h that is!), curently all black.
Originally delivered to the guards regiment of the Shah of Persia in 1964, which since times immemorial have been called "The Immortals". At that time, the bike was silver and blue, and it retains its police blue-and-red frontlights from that time. Not sure the story is true, the guy who sold it to me told it, and it is a good story, so I keep it ;-)
Like to ride with friends or alone, whenever wife and three near-adult kids, a big dog and work are alowing it.
To anyone who is in the area, I can only recommend the Ardennes (yes, yes, the ones of "Battle of the Bulge" fame).
Among the best motorcycle regions in Europe, and not overcrowded. Give it a try, even if some roads are a bit of work with a full dresser. With a RoadKing or anything lighter, you should be fine.
See you out there....

Welcome to the HDFORUM. Great introduction.
Only a suggestion but add a nice shot of that bike in a background scene of your beautiful country, in your signature line. (See USER Control Panel -- Edit Signature)
