Someone should offer to sell him one for $179.95

$30 more than the one for sale on eBay.... Then flip the eBay part for a few bucks....

I don’t blame him… I wouldn’t want to spend $150 on that either. He’s hoping someone here will sell him one more reasonably.

If the bikes are starting to be worth $4500 to $5500 for nice low miles ones, nobody wants to put a lot into them with parts. You’ll wind up having way more than they’re worth as a whole into them.

On the other side, with prices low everyone’s buying and selling. Lots of passing them around, each owner now looking for parts to make them their own… possibly driving parts costs up.

Wow. I thought paying $70+ from HD directly for a front fender tip for my FLHTP was too much money! $150 makes it seem like a bargain.

Thats really funny I hadnt noticed that, or the price. Possible the guy found that link on ebay and posted it because he wanted to find it at a lower cost.

I see a lot of stuff on eBay that is priced, IMHO, crazy high.....

I still remember searching for a factory service manual for one of my bikes several years ago. At the time the new ones were $149 at a dealer. There were several used ones for $160 and some new ones for $199 on eBay...

PS- I don't blame him for not wanting to pay $149 either...

I recently bought 2 Harbor Freight low profile motorcycle jacks. $229 each at the local HF.
Someone had one listed on eBay for well over $300. Pays to shop sometimes.
