Bagger guy, who I'm guessing isn't a Thunderheader fan, in the Dyna forum asking what the point of this post is. Now I've seen everything.

 

I've been waiting on a Thunderheader for 11 weeks and counting. Was told 4-6 weeks at time of purchase.

 

You post an open ended statement and don't elaborate on it. I merely asked a question. You make a lot of assumptions as to what I own, and what I think. Please let me know where I can buy the same crystal ball you own.

 

Normally I wouldn't bother with another reply, but I'll be charitable.

Posting "And the point of this, is?" is not merely a question. It's a snarky, shitty statement. Why is it snarky and shitty? The written word has no intent. They can be inferred to have ill intent, even if they weren't meant to. It is on the author to make his intent clear.

The "point" of this post is that there are a handful of us that have been waiting for more news on stainless Thunderheaders, thus I wanted to share what I learned. Clearly you are not one of those people or you would have immediately recognized the "point" of this post.

As to what you own, when you have a pic and description of a new bagger bro bike in your signature, I think it's fair to assume.

Nice! I looked at another FXDL earlier this week, but the seller is clearly on another planet with his sale price. The TH would be part of my extreme makeover, without a doubt.

 

Yeah, I might have to give some hard thought to swapping my black pipes for these. I really like the 2-piece idea too, because they are always a PITA to R&R, at least for me. I wonder if they're going to make heat shields available?
