2014 Dyna Switchback FLD Exhaust decatting
I have a 2014 Dyna Switchback FLD with the stock 2-1 header and aftermarket breather, and have been thinking of decatting the thing. The end of the exhaust is the same size as the as the individual pipe coming from the head. Understanding from everywhere I've read that I should get a tuner before proceeding with it. But since the end of the exhaust is the same as one of the pipes at the start of the headers, and the cat isn't that restrictive as its a wide fluted cat, would it theoretically create the same amount of backpressure as it would with it left alone? I'm just trying to get every bit of information as possible so I can put the tuner off long enough to afford it. I don't have the original slip on as It got lost off a cliff due to being an amateur some years back and not checking my fasteners like I should've.

@nickisnice123 I have moved this thread from the Forum Issues section to the Dyna Glide Models section as you will get better responses to your question in this section. The Forum Issues section is for raising any issues you are having with the Harley Davidson Forum website software, not motorcycle related technical questions.
I decatted all of my touring bikes, never had to tune any of them. The cats are pretty high flowing from the factory and the FI system should be able to handle that little extra air flow, I'd be shocked if you noticed any difference other than exhaust note
