Rabaconda vs Nomar
I’ve been wanting to get a manual tire changer for quite some time now. I’ve really wanted to get a No-Mar because my understanding is it’s also capable of changing truck tires. However I go through motorcycle tires a whole lot faster. I also don’t really have a place to mount the No-Mar. Unless I mounted it to my truck. Just seems like the Rabaconda would be much more convenient. For my situation
I read the Rabaconda will do up to 250mm tires. Is this true? Will it handle a 240mm Fatboy tire without lots of cussing and throwing things? It seems like it’s “capable” of doing “cruiser bike tires” but it’s really more ment for track use / sport bikes.
Anyway, has anybody used a Riconda to change a 240 mm or larger tire? Having a tire changer would have saved me a lot of headache. I got new tires on the bike then less than 200 miles later big flipping something jammed into the rear. Due to my wacky schedule I’ve not been able to get it to the shop for two weeks now. Driving me crazy they have the tire waiting for me. But won’t be able to get it there until Wednesday.
Thanks.
