Default Starter cover replacement on a '54 FLE

I've got to get the starter cover off the transmission, and to do that, I need to remove the exhaust for the rear cylinder. I've removed the muffler and loosened the clamp on the pipe at the rear cylinder. That pipe is connected to a pipe that goes to the muffler, catches the rear cylinder the the "S" pipe to the front cylinder pipe. Nothing moves much when I try to loosen it.

What am I missing?

If you have a stock style exhaust, the rear and front pipe meet at a "Y" which is also attached to the squish pipe going to the front cylinder. Need pics.
