These discussions always crack me up.
There's always those people who say they can't justify spending that kind of money for a Shotgun "just to look cool", but they don't think twice about spending 3-4 times that much for new wheels to, you know, look cool.
..and last time I checked, wheels add nothing to the performance or handling of the bike - and besides if they think Shotguns are all about looking cool, then they're really missing the point anyway...

SoCal; You must have missed something, nowhere in this thread did I say that.

And to V. Idiot; your response confirms my point that if one says anything derogatory about shotgun shocks some of those that have them feel the need to slam the person making the comment.

If you read page 3 of this thread I actually complement them.
Again I don't get why all the attacks against non-shotgun shock owners.

This thread is dead, I'm moving on.

How about, why come in to a thread and call everyone in the thread a poser and not expect anyone to say anything? Confirms my theory that if you act like and idiot, you'll be treated like an idiot.

Again, I don't get why you're defending someone for starting off with a smart *** comment to everyone that owns a Shotgun Shock and acting surprised when people respond in kind. It would be like walking in to a Honda meet up, calling all Honda owners posers, and not expecting them to say anything to you.

My mistake. It was the other recent SS thread in which you said that. And where you also decided you were going to leave the thread after people challenged you on your assumptions.

I haven't seen anyone attack you. They are simply pointing out to you that you are wrong, which you are.

So many positive reviews on the shotgun shock. I am getting ready to pull the trigger and put it on my deluxe but my only last reservation is that almost everybody with a great review of the product also had had issues and even though the fantastic support is there, I think of shocks as a set it up and forget upgrade. I am sure there must be quite a few out there who have had zero issues, right?

Doesn't matter if you have it or not. Doesn't matter if you know what your talking about or not. Doesn't matter what side of the fence you sit on. It is what it is and the SS is the best out there and I'm not interested in the cost angle discussion people throw at it. It's worth every penny, it's nap time.
