That is actually something that I like about it... different taste for different people.

I still think that HD hit a home-run with this one and they will sell them like hotcakes...

...must not go to the dealer, must... hold... on... lol

I was trying to find that information myself. Some of the marketing material says it's a Screamin' Eagle 110" motor, but others imply it's a SE 110" kit.

The full SE motor has hydraulic chain tensioners, high flow oil pump, SE cam plate and some SE cams, but I don't know which ones.

The online parts fiche shows this cam "kit" but I don't know which can is in the kit.

Sure enough. Surdyke shows the 25638-07 cam kit as the SE 255.

I'm glad you asked and that I looked it up.

Some people don't like the 255; I do. I had them in my Dyna. They don't rev out like aftermarket cams or even some of the other SE cams, but they hit big torque earlier than any of them. For me at least, the 255 puts the grunt right where I use it.

WOW!!! Great bike. HD seems to put a lot of effort and thought into the 2016 line of Softails. Last year the focus was on touring now the Softail family gets the attention. The Heritage in white and teal with the HO 103, ABS, cruise, saddle bags with liner and optional quick release has caught my eye. Just when I told my wife that I didn't need anymore bikes. I'm in trouble.

I was in the same boat. My little Sportster Cafe project was supposed to be a "forever" bike, but the gremlins just wouldn't go away, the Slim S just popped on the radar right when I needed it to. My wife gave me "the look" but quickly recovered. I say go for it.

That is a great looking bike that doesn't seem like much at all needs to be done to it.

Is the stock exhaust on the s models better than normal or does that have to be addressed?

Congrats on the new bike. Harley build the bike I've always wanted, big cubes, blacked out and OD green paint. I plan on picking one up next spring.
