Try an Ultimate

I have a leather LePera Silouette, very comfortable, top notch quality.

I bought a badlander, and it's like sitting on a concrete block.

Thanks for all the info......looks like the Badlander is a no go!

I sold off my Badlander from the SS. It was like sitting on a curved piece of plywood. I went with the LePera bare bones gel solo. Nice seat, comfy but the vinyl covering made it feel like I was slipping off especially on a harder launch. I sold it and now have a Danny Gray buttcrack solo. Love the looks, feel and full leather cover.

+1 on the badlander. Looks great but too hard. I have a sundowner as well on my 05 nightrain but not happy with that either. It appears the tallboy is not made for the 05 nightrain so am looking for alternatives. Any suggestions? I think the danny grey looks "long" and may allow me to move further back? Interested i opinions and experience of them.

I asked this same question here a few months ago and after all the advice I went for Ultimate. Best money I've ever spent. No more tailbone pain, I've now ridden about 4000 miles on it including a full week of all day riding without any issues at all. I went with the backrest and passenger pad.

It took about 500 miles to wear in but now it's like sitting in an armchair. It even beats my Springer seat for comfort. Ultimate give you 14 days to try it or send it back.
