Default Arlen Ness retro Floorboards

i put the retro floorboards on my deluxe but the little ball konb on the kick stand is hitting the floorboards. I know I have 2 tweek it a little but which way did u go with the ball **** on the kickstand? outboard,down? THANKS!

I changed my kickstand to an Arlen Ness that was 1" shorter and made for a Heritage (No ball and arm) to clear my extended Deluxe floorboards. The P&A catalog says those boards do not fit FLSTN, but the only difference anywhere between the bikes in that area is the kickstand.

Looking at your pic I would bend the arm/ball toward the back of the bike enough to clear if you do not want to change kickstands...
