I ride in south Texas, as year-round as I can. Icon Air helmet keeps me cool enough, helmet-wise; it flows great, as long as you're not stuck in traffic and you're moving, it's fine. It was the leather that was killing me; I picked up a ventilated leather jacket and it was better but still miserably hot. Just picked up a set of kevlar mesh Motoport gear, I think this will do the trick.

Always here. Now a Nolan but am looking at the ls2 and shark that have chin bars that fold back so can be worn as 3/4 as well as for. Have been riding with buddy and that convenience would be really nice for chatting while waiting.

Smile Helmet

I wear a full face Reevu helmet with a gopro mounted centered on the front under the visor. The feature that I like is you can see behind you with a mirror system mounted inside the helmet.

I mostly wear a Joe King 3/4 with/without shield. As the weather gets cooler, I wear a Nolan N90 modular. I’ve been considering FF and will probably get one this spring.

OK, so I just got a new (to me) HJC Modular.
I really do like it. It's very comfortable (warm etc)
It's been years since I wore one. My only concern is, with the
shield all the way down there's a tinny echo sound. It's right in
time with my exhaust. Any way to get rid off that. I did the doo-rag
thing over my ears. That helps. Just wonderin' if I just gotta get used
to it, or is there a fix. Tunes???
I really do think I'll wear it from now on though. I'm sure in the summer
time, I'll take the shield off, so that wont be an issue.

Ok, thanks.
I'll try that. Any recommendations?
I used to use those little foam ones for shooting.

I ride year round in FL and wear a Bell Moto 9 motocross helmet. Lots of ventilation, still feel the breeze, and makes a big difference when the temps are in the 50's.

To me, being a rider is being independent and what gear I wear is my decision.
