I had the BSLongs on my Heritage and loved the looks and sound.Had the quiet baffles in and it deepened the sound up a bit.Just changed them out for the new v&h softail duals with fishtails.
Personally i prefer the longs on a Heritage. The staggered look better on a Fatboy or Deluxe for some reason.
However be warned that the big shot longs do scrape going around some corners. The end of my lower pipe was scratched up a bit so you need to keep this in mind.My back end is lowered so that doesnt help.

my brother has the longs with no baffles on a NT. I have the staggards with thunder baffles on my standard, both loud, another side to look at is when he has his wife on the back, the longs drag a little on right turns. Personally love the sound of both.

What does the BS Longs look like on a FXSTC 07? Just got myblack custom and also can't decide whether to get BS Staggards or Longs. I want the deep rumble - but don't want to upset the Feds here in Aussie. I haven't managed to find a picture of Longs on a FXSTC! does this mean it doesn't go - or is it just a personal taste thing?

Riding two-up, I drag the pipes on right hand turns way too easily as far as I am concerned. But my bride sure likes the exhaust exiting far from her feet. At slow speeds, like starting up from an intersection, I will drag the pipes with any kind of a dip at all. But, I do like the way they look and sound. Sounds like you are at the drags when you really wind it out. I would like a little deeper sound however. If I keep them, I will probably try the Thunder Monster baffles.

Crazee Biker, are you using the stock tips on your Big Shots? Also, do the pipes block any drain/fill plugs for your trans, primary or engine?

Was looking at the shorshots, but I REALLY dig the way the Big Shot Staggards look on your bike. I think they would look great and sound killer on mine!

Just thought I would throw in a pic of the V&H Big Shot Staggered on a 07 FXSTB. And Ebettie these are the stock tips on these pipes for the 07s.

I installed the Big Shot Staggards without the baffles and love them! The wife complains they are a bit loud for her when I really get on it. I was thinking about ordering the quiet baffles...question....can you install the baffles without removing the pipes???
