I had a Schwinn that color, a Honda 550, and a 69 Super-Bee (well it was red, but had the rust red primer on the R/H Qtr Pnl & part of the door

Look at all those bikes parked on the sidewalk... What a great town!
We even have "service bike" vests we can put on them to bring them into restaraunts and movie theaters

I feel like getting past owning two bikes was a burden I was willing to bear...and then there was no turning back!! Use caution!

Rustoleum baby !!!! $8.99 per can @ OSH
Simple solutions are often the best! I have similar memories of this color and this bike is like a spinal tap right to heart of them.
Congrats on the new ride. The 2018 heritage is a great looking bike and it dam sure will run. Take a good close look at one today . It has a throw back to the 50's look to it but still a modern bike.
Puts that carp Indian is putting out to shame.

I agree. I was surprised when some people were complaining this bike looked too modern. There are some details that are absent, I'll always miss the ignition switch - the passing lamp toggle - exposed oil line - but this styling really captures the FL I saw growing up.
I'm sure someone is going to strip one down and bob it. I'll be curious to see what that looks like. They perform well and still haven't lost their magic.
