Default 2018 Fat Bob owners - what do you think of the stock tyres?

Guys,

I have a 2014 Fat Bob and a 2018 on order. On the '14, I absolutely hated the stock Dunlops that it came with and changed to Avon Cobras quite quickly.

So how do the new Dunlops on the '18 Fat Bob feel? They look better, but I'd like to know owners impressions on how they do in real life....

I too have oversized Avons on my 2010 Fat Bob & love them.

I rode the 2018 Fat Bob yesterday & couldn't tell the difference. My main issue with stock Dunlops on my 2010 were they didn't wear well (cupping on the front @ 5000 miles) & were awful in the rain. I'm sure the new Dunlops have been improved since the originals. Enjoy your new ride.

Thanks Ken!

I had the same issues - and as I live in the UK, especially the atrocious wet weather handling.

Kinda of one of the reasons I bought the bike super fat tires. They tread pattern is aggressive and fit the style of the bike. I haven't had a problem with them.

On the '18 Heritage the stock Dunlops perform the way they always have on previous bikes...which means they'll be gone in 5,000 miles. Don't know how different the Fat Bobs are. My '09 Fat Bob Dunlops were terrible...easily fixed with many choices.

What is the lag time on your Fat Bob delivery? How many weeks?

I can't stop thinking about the new Fat Bob since riding it. If I had the cash I would be next in line.

Default Tires for 2018 Fat Bob

Just picked up my Fat Bob last week.
Love these tires.
Had a 2015 Fat Bob last year, tires were fine.
These will suit me just fine.

Same here. I didn't plan to ride it until the salesman told me to take it out. I said "I don't really want to ride it, I won't be buying he one." Told me to take it and tell him what I thought of it. It was awesome.

I'm buying a new bike in the next 6 months or so. My wife wants me to get a touring bike, and since I won't be selling my Heritage so I'll then have two bikes. I can't swing two new bikes without selling my current one.
