Default 1k service on softail deluxe

So I am pretty skilled when it comes to turning a wrench and don't feel like $450 is a fair deal for the 1k service. Does anyone have a check list on this service? Also, what are you guys paying for the services in your area? I feel like that's a little on the high side to change the fluids, clutch adjust and belt adjust. P.s. if I wanted to go to a synthetic oils in all 3 it puts the cost over $500.

Mine was about 325-350 here at Arrowhead HD in Peoria AZ, I went with Syn3 in the motor, Formula+ in the tranny and primary, per my owners manual. 2016 Deluxe.

Whenever I purchase a new bike I'll bring it to the dealer for it's 1st service. Basically just so they have a record of me being there at least once. After that I perform all maint./repairs myself.

Probably depends on the dealer. Mine local dealer sells Redline which is what I run in all my bikes, thus for my 1K service not an issue.

The list of things to check is fairly large (I have a copy at home).
I normally do my own work.
But I had it done, it cost me $418 and some change out the door (syn oil).
The list of things to check include the spokes.... did they do them all?
But they signed off on everything.
It will be the last time they work on it unless it is a warranty issue, nothing they did wrong per say I just like doing my own work.

I paid $370 a couple weeks ago on mine. Changed all fluids, checked everything, adjusted headlight. Luckily I had about $200 in HD Rider Rewards, so out of pocket cost was $170.

Mine was under $300 and I had the suspension adjusted and a $25 gift card, so might have actually be just over $300

Yea I live on the other side of the river from you. Feel like the price difference it too much. I might call around and see if I can find anyone else for cheaper. I like the idea of them signing off on it though. One less thing to worry about
