Hello everyone, not a first time user but had to change accounts.

My 2007 Heritage Softail front left running light does not come on, signal and emergency work fine. New bulbs, even switched with known working bulb. No corrosion. Any suggestions?

Isn’t there a ground wire inside the housing of that running light? I bet after 12 years it may have rattled a little loose.

Running light

Already checked the black terminal, it's tight and clean.

Had to change accounts? Outstanding warrants?

I ohm the black wire and compared too right side, 144 on bad side, 5 ohm on good side, where does this leave me?

I think it means post number 2 is correct. Tighten up that ground wire or replace with good tight connections

Cleaned, tightened the ground, still no good. Do not get contenunity from that ground to frame. Compared it too right side, got contenunity there, still quite puzzled here.

Try a jumper wire from frame to ground in the light. Should tell you if the ground wire is compromised.

Check the socket with a voltmeter, see if you are getting power to the contact for the running lamp element.

If the ground is bad, the signal lamp wouldn`t work either...
