That doesn't make any sense to me. I've never heard of a wheel with bearings you can't change? Bearings are a wear item, so you have to be able to change them out at some point, and if they're sealed bearings chances are you can get the same diameter 25mm bearings. If they have taper bearings instead of sealed to begin with it becomes more complicated, so maybe that's what they are talking about?
What they said was that when it has a smaller bearing , the opening is not big enough to accept a bigger diameter bearing . Seems dumb that they wouldn't just sell the same wheel with the bigger bearing for use in the bigger bikes . Doesn't matter though , I just found a new Harley take off wheel for $199.at Cycle warehouse in Butler, Pa. just 13 miles from me . This place is amazing . They have 4 floors of parts and used bikes . If you can't find it there , it don't exist . They also have a whole section for sales on ebay .
