I am working on a 1998 Fatboy and found this module disconnected under the seat. This is the module (circled in red) and circled in yellow is the terminal I found disconnected and tucked away. Notice the module is splitting open. This is the other side of the unit. Notice the purple and brown wires coming out of it. The orange squeeze taps below, left of the yellow circle is where the unit appears to be spliced into the turn signals.I found it neatly tucked behind the battery. The black wire with the loop terminal in the yellow circle was deliberately disconnected and neatly tucked away. Anyone identify it?

 

Probably a load equalizer for LED turn signals. Just a stab in the dark.
