No crash bars, there all ugly ( but they do work if you drop your bike) but hey most things that are really functional arnt really the best things to look at.

I agree the bike looks better w/o them even though generally the more chrome the better. But better safe than sorry which I found out a week or two after putting mine on when I "dropped" it while backing down a sidewalk. Front wheel went onto the grass and dwon it went. Since it fell on the grass it probably wouldn't have done any damage but you never know.

If I could test drive them all, then I would not get stupid answers like yours. In fact, I would like to see a deluxe with each type of bars, and maybe I will.
Keeping looking and asking here and you will see some good shots of the different combos. I had a hard time finding photos of good straight on views of the bars. In the end, based on looks alone, I couldn't decide between the standard and moustache. But the moustache's won out on their extra utility as footrests.

Here is the Mustache on my Fat Boy.

I like the looks of the Mustache much better than the big round ones,
but maybe it was just me, butI never used the built in pegs very much.
I used the side pegs I added. I liked stretching my legs out.
But I didn't like them that high in the air with the built in ones.

I have been thinking of putting the mustache bar on my bike. I would take the rubber pads off and mount the HD engine guard lights, below that area. The book says that these lights will not fit, on a mustache bar, but I think it is because of the rubber foot pads, being in the way.
This would give me a good triangular spread between the headlight and engine guard lights, for maximum frontal visibility.

I have the Kury Ergo crash bar. I luv it with the built in fold out foot pegs and it appears lower profile than others. Course this is on a Heritage also. You might check it out. I put it on this summer and haven't updated pics yet and the bike is put away for the winter but if it get's to be a nice day I will drag it out and shoot a photo. Heck, I still owe Yogi one so he can see it with the lowered shocks on.

Nice VonZipper.... little to much to drink before that post? Very helpful indeed.
