had my first set about 2 weeks when 2 of the led's went out the dealer replaced it no hassle no chargehas benn going strong (fingers crossed) for about six months.

 

My dealer told me to save my money because they have seen too many problems with the Leds failing.

 

I'd guess that you all are talking about the HD flush caps. Anybody know if the Kuryakyn are better...or worse?

 

I knew a couple guy who had them 9Kuryakyn)on their Police Bikes. They also have an alternator guage. But I don't think they mount flush. Just like anything else new, guess they need time to work them out. Used to have problems with the fuel temp digital oil dipstick, back in the days. Now they check the oil for you too. If they aren't right now, maybe they'll be better later.

 

I bought a set and am having them fitted at first service.
This way I get a 2 year extended warranty on them just in case any thing went wrong.

 

Yes, in a couple of days I lost the light which shows the pump but other than that it is ok.

 

There was a lot on this in the forum several months ago if you want to do a search.

Worked fine on mine for acouple months. Lost 2 of the LEDs after that. Haven't replaced - ordering by mail, exchanging is a PITA.

My bikes carbed by the way. There were no issues hooking it up. Think there's a difference in the connection with the FI bikes - something to do w/ the low fuel warning light.
