RE: Those that have lowered their Rocker
have to agree, they look good lowered. my 90 fxstc has vance and hines longshots and i can scrape the road coming out of a drive way with my suspension set to stock height so ill just leave it alone. looks fine to me and rides great. my brother-in-law has a 93 softail springer thats lowered and he hates the ride.

RE: Those that have lowered their Rocker
i had my FXCWC lowered with the Arlen Ness 17-100 kit. I love the way it looks lowered but what i have figured out is that in order for me (235 pounds) to have ANY shock play i had to raise the bike to the upper limit of the lowering kit. Any lower and when i sit on the bike i am sitting on the bumper. This doesnt make any sense to me being that the shock preload is cranked all the way. Maybe the stock shocks just suck.

RE: Those that have lowered their Rocker
I had mine lowered and it is true that the ride is stiffer, one cannot deny that. I also touch more often ground in sharp turns. SO WHAT? Chicks put make up, wear mini-skirts and high heels, wear wonderbras and do boob jobs, inject botox in their lips \\;to look good... So why can't you guys suffer a little bit as well to look good on your scoots? After all, that's why we all have Harleys!!
