I found this frame cover on Ebay at a decent price:

Default nice mod

[QUOTE=85FXWG;3906039]I used my dremel to cut the back side of the pan around the ECM bulge, I also cut the bolt hole completely off from the backside. I had to cut 1/4" around the front mount. I have to say it fits pretty good. I'm still going to make a leather cover like Whiteguy did but for now I can live with it............ At least it will stay dry.

Interesting Mod, looks quite natural.

i think that looks just great , with the fishtails and the studs on the bags it gives a very retro look . and isn't that what the Heritage is all about ?

I recently bought an 09 Heritage and wondering how the springer seat would look. Now I know, it looks great. Any advice you could give me on doing the same would be greatly appriecated.

I just removed the material from the rear part of the battery cover from the springs back. I think it works well on my 1998 frame.

La Rosa Design makes a bolt on pan and ecu cover for your bike. No welding and a clean look...oh nice bike.
